Toy Soldier Productions was started in September 2009 when Justin Brodin, then a film student at Montana State University, recruited fellow filmmakers Andy Hahn, Jonny Durst and Shane Dowaliby to produce a Montana-based ski & snowboard film. Come Find Us examined the semi-underground freestyle ski & snowboard scene in Montana. The crew spent the 2009/2010 season traveling to every corner of the state in search of the best fresh and undiscovered talent. The movie was filmed entirely within state borders, but had an international impact. This year, Toy Soldier Productions is working on its second film, Set Your Sights. The crew is stepping beyond their Montana borders, taking their filming nationwide in effort to document today’s top up-and-coming freestyle skiers and snowboarders. Toy Soldier Productions believes what happens behind the lens is equally as important as what happens in front of it. We are constantly refining our technique and visual style in an attempt to make an impact on the ski & snowboard world.
