THE FRONTLINE
SINGERS

British Vocal Group

Founded by James Beeny and Gina Georgio during the COVID-19 Pandemic, The Frontline Singers is made up of key workers and professional performers who have worked on the frontline during this difficult time. The group appeared on Britain's Got Talent in 2022.

The group met in person for the first time in the autumn of 2021. Since then, they have been enjoying singing together and sharing their experiences, and their first public performance was their audition on Britain’s Got Talent 2022 at The London Palladium, where they received a standing ovation from the audience and judges, who gave them 4 ‘yes’ votes. The group performed live in the semi-final stage of the competition at the Hammersmith Apollo.

In the first national lockdown, The Frontline Singers recorded a virtual performance of ’Strange Old World’ - an original song written by James and Gina - to raise charitable funds for the NHS. The song, which doubled its Just Giving target in its first week online, is performed by 50 frontline workers and features theatre stars Karl Queensborough (‘Alexander Hamilton’ in Hamilton) and Paul Wilkins (‘Marius’ in Les Misérables). While the theatres were closed during the lockdown, Paul took on night shifts in Morrisons.
